Description
Mitutoyo PJ-Plus PJ-P1010A is a bench-mounted profile projector built around a 100 × 100 mm measuring table and a 10× projection objective. Profile projectors are the right tool when you need to inspect a small or medium-sized turned/machined part against its drawing — particularly for chamfers, radii, thread profiles, and the type of contour features that do not fit naturally on a CMM. The PJ-Plus generation adds a digital protractor and digital XY counters, eliminating the manual angle readings and scale calculations required by the older PJ-A series.
The rotatable screen is ø 315 mm and features both LED surface lighting (from above, for inspecting marked surfaces) and contour lighting (backlighting, for the silhouette work where profile projectors truly excel). The XY counters have a resolution of 0.001 mm, switchable ABS/INC, with an RS232C output for logging readings in Excel or a QA database.
The built-in angle gauge reads ±360° with a resolution of 1′ / 0.01°. The maximum magnification error is 0.1 % / 0.15 % — tight enough to ensure the projector itself does not introduce visible error into the measurement. The workpiece capacity is 91 mm high on the 250 × 250 mm table, and the entire instrument weighs 114 kg.
